Encouraging Participation in National and International Courses, Events, and Meetings
In addition to funding from Capes (http://www.capes.gov.br), CNPq (http://www.cnpq.br/index.htm), Fapes (http://www.fapes.es.gov.br/), and Facitec (http://www.vitoria.es.gov.br/cdv.php?pagina=oquee), PPGL/Ufes offers financial support for students and faculty to participate in national and international courses, events, meetings, and scientific internships.
Professors can apply for support in the form of daily allowances for national and international events, once per year.
Students receive fixed financial aid covering up to three daily allowances, once per year.
Through PRPPG (www.prppg.ufes.br), via Proap/Capes, it is possible to apply for reimbursement of registration fees for national and international events.
Encouragement for Sandwich Scholarship and Postdoctoral Fellowship Applications
Applications for sandwich scholarships (for students) and postdoctoral fellowships (for faculty), both in Brazil and abroad at prestigious institutions, are strongly encouraged. Several students and professors have already been awarded these scholarships, and others are enrolled for upcoming selection rounds.
Funding agencies such as Capes (http://www.capes.gov.br), CNPq (http://www.cnpq.br/), and Fapes (http://www.fapes.es.gov.br/) regularly publish calls for applications for these opportunities.
