Call for Symposia -24th Literary Studies Congress at Ufes: Literature in the Pandemic

The Postgraduate Program in Literature at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) encourages the submission of symposium proposals for the upcoming 24th Literary Studies Congress on the theme “Literature in the Pandemic”. The event will take place in Vitória, Brazil (and online) from 8 to 10 November 2022.

We aim to discuss the impacts of Covid-19 on the work of those who teach, research, write, edit, publish and sell literature. The event brings together writers, professors, researchers, students and scholars, in order to favor discussions both on the literary field during the pandemic of the new coronavirus, and on the pandemics of the present and the past as a literary and aesthetic subject, focusing on the theme in different theoretical and methodological perspectives.

Communications will be presented at thematic symposia that will discuss specific topics on literature under pandemic and/or on the pandemic in literature. The Symposia will be held virtually (via Google Meet).
